To study the incidence of intraventricular Hemorrhage in preterm neonates

Introduction: Intraventricular Haemorrhage is the most common forms of brain injury in preterm neonates1, more commonly seen smallest and neonates contributing to mortality, morbidity during time stay hospital. IVH among VLBW with incidence around 20-25% out which 2/3rd are mild moderate severity [grade 1-2]. Objective: To study intraventricular hemorrhage neonates. Methods: This a hospital based, prospective, observational study. Total 100 inborn fulfilling inclusion criteria were screened for using USG cranium as modality choice. Results: Distribution subjects per on showed 86% did not have Intra ventricular while rest 14% had Hemorrhage (IVH). Among those 14 who IVH, 11 (78.6%) Grade – I remaining 21.4% II IVH.
